Starting point at Temenggong lake and it's take 2 hours boat ride to Orange Asli settlement, from Orange Asli settlement to the first camp site which is near the river. The trek trail is more like up and down, time taken is about 7 hours. From first camp site to the top have to take another 7 hours.
Probably need to take note when trekking this mountain because the trail not many people goes and very far away from town, if you are lucky, might able to see wild animal and flora and fauna, whereas to the summit a lot mossy forest. look like THE LORD OF THE RING.
This mountain is located in the remote Belum Forest Reserve, a large area of virgin forest untouched by the outside world. If you are lost in this Hutan Belum, the nearest civilisation is 40/50 kilometers away and that's about 3 days of trek if you walked in a straight line. There's abundant supply of flora, high in medicinal value. Aboriginal tribes, called Orang Asli still use this forest as a base for primary living. The only contact to the outside world is a 3 hours boat ride through Temenggur Lake (Tasik Temenggur). The distance between the starting point of trek to the summit is about 45 map square kilometers. The expedition has to be planned carefully. Only experienced guide is able to guide this whole expedition.
